Biography

Bola Badmus is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with more than two decades of experience in building growth-focused ecosystems and advancing economic development across multiple industries and regions. He has worked with leading multinationals such as Suncor Energy, Shell Scotford, Imperial Oil, and Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) through United Safety Inc. in Canada. Currently, he serves as the Managing Partner of BB Atlantic Corporation, where he directs strategic operations and delivers innovative solutions to clients in both private and public sectors.

Through SILO Solutions, the technology division of BB Atlantic, Bola drives digital transformation initiatives for SMEs and start-ups, with a focus on leveraging AI-enabled systems to streamline finance, HR, and customer relationship management processes. He is also the co-founder of Ovation Investment Group, a Canadian real estate and asset management firm dedicated to creating generational wealth for underserved communities.

Earlier in his career, Bola served as Managing Partner at Oxlade Construction Limited (EPC), overseeing operations with turnovers exceeding $40 million and delivering major projects in partnership with multinationals including Saipem ENI, Total Energies, Diageo, and Nigerian Breweries. His passion for infrastructure and socio-economic empowerment is reflected in his leadership of projects such as the 2015 rural electrification initiative that brought sustainable power to underserved communities, and in his founding of Afri-Can Alliance International in 2020, a non-profit dedicated to capacity building for Black professionals and entrepreneurs.

An alumnus of the University of Lagos, Coventry University, and the University of Warwick (MSc), Bola is a member of the Institute of Directors and other professional associations. With a unique ability to bridge African and North American business ecosystems, he continues to be recognized as a trusted partner in driving global growth, innovation, and long-term impact.

Achievement

Over the course of his career, Bola has successfully delivered and managed more than 120 business projects across the globe through BB Atlantic Corporation, enhancing the operational capacity of numerous SMEs and establishing partnerships with global corporations such as Lafarge, Procter & Gamble, and Coca-Cola. He spearheaded the development of SILO’s flagship AI-enabled ERP platform, driving digital transformation for SMEs and start-ups, and co-founded Ovation Investment Group to advance real estate and asset management for underserved communities.

In 2021, he co-championed the $2.8 million Government of Canada–funded Black Business Advancement Project, which supported 300 Black entrepreneurs by breaking systemic barriers, improving access to capital, and scaling opportunities. Yetunde is a seasoned finance executive and Chartered Professional Accountant with over 17 years of progressive leadership across the energy, construction, manufacturing, and retail sectors. As Senior Partner and Vice President, Accounting & Finance at BB Atlantic Corporation, she provides strategic oversight on financial governance, treasury operations, and capital management, ensuring clients achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Her career includes leadership roles at Integrated Power Services, North American Construction Group, AltaSteel, ENYO Retail & Supply, and Oando Plc, where she successfully drove corporate accounting, treasury operations, and debt restructuring initiatives. Recognized for her ability to translate financial data into actionable insights, she has built strong stakeholder confidence while aligning financial systems with regulatory and audit expectations.

A Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA, UK) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, Canada), Yetunde combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision. Passionate about advancing inclusive business ecosystems, she also mentors finance professionals, empowering them to build capacity and leadership in today’s dynamic business environment.
